There’s a cooking show host in the US (and elsewhere I imagine) named Alton Brown. Very informative and entertaining, but one thing we like about him is he is not a fan of one-use gadgets. Everything he uses in his kitchen is a multi tasked. That said, our new oven has an air fryer but we haven’t used that yet.

I am in awe of the episode where he made a smoker, similar to a green egg out of two large terra cotta post, a hot plate and a grill grid. The pulled pork looked incredible. I may have licked the TV...
