Chaotic Coffee Klatch (tea also available)

I get that, especially with my small kitchen. My air fryer multi-tasks as a toaster/toaster oven. I also do not own a mixer or a microwave, so that helps in the space saving department. Also I don't own a coffee machine as I don't drink coffee (I know, I know). But I do have a crock pot (which I keep in the basement until needed. :D
I don't own a coffee machine either, only a French press for coffee-drinking guests. Water kettle is the item I use daily. And I wouldn't ever use the Instant pot if it was in the basement.

Microwave I do have (standing over my extra freezer), though if I was designing a minimal kitchen I would choose a oven with microwave function instead of a separate microwave. (This kitchen isn't exactly minimal, but has been designed in the beginning of 80's when they didn't need to think about where to place microwave.)

I don't make much single servings. I cook ordinary 4-person meals usually, and eat more than once from it. So microwave is essential.

There are some wonderful new multiple application appliances. I once saw one in 1950s red color toater oven with air fryer feature and on top of it were 2 small burners.

I have pondered the fate vs chance vs we create our experience stuff for most of my life. And the last 3 years particularly made me question everything I thought I knew. Now, I am Shultz-girl. I know nothing!!!🤣🤣
I can relate. That feeling come and goes with me. I am going to a New Orleans Style Jazz fundraiser tonight with friends. Maybe I need to get out of this house for awhile. Maybe I will come back in a better mood. Hugs Brenda 🤗 🤗 🤗 🤗 🤗

I think that's kind of wrapped in the nature of life. Figure life out. Life throws a curve. Figure it out again. Next curve. Okay, you got it now. Bean ball. Repeat until the game reaches the end.

Learning to live on a constantly shifting landscape is a big part of life.
I have used the baseball analogy too. Too many damn curveballs! Give me a straight fast ball OK?

That has been my experience. I used to read a whole lot of different philosophy stuff that called to me. Unfortunately they don’t all mesh, at all. 🤣🤣🤣

So now I have a head full of gibberish and can’t make sense of it anymore.

I used to have very good intuition, but it seems to have abandoned me. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

I think of things being very cyclical in nature... that things come round again and again in different forms.
Life lessons that I have to learn all over again every decade or so...
Grief that I think I'm done with I have to process all over again in a different way as new experiences and new wisdom create pathways not available the last time.

It's both painful and cathartic.
Embrace every moment.
Nothing is guaranteed.
Kindness matters.

There’s a cooking show host in the US (and elsewhere I imagine) named Alton Brown. Very informative and entertaining, but one thing we like about him is he is not a fan of one-use gadgets. Everything he uses in his kitchen is a multi tasked. That said, our new oven has an air fryer but we haven’t used that yet.
I like Alton brown because he often talks about the science of cooking and I enjoy that aspect.

I've never had good intuition. I've moved through life as more of a bull in the china shop. When it doubt, just charge. LOL - it's worked, in it's own way. Can't say I'd recommend it though.

I have observed nothing is universal in humans. Intuition, health, drama, all that stuff.
