We saw Joan in Maxwells, a legendary rock club in Hoboken. The venue was the size of a living room so you got to see everything. Joan is TINY.I agree! I always comes back to this song when I think of her.
Funny, that song make me think of Tommy James. probably because I am old.I agree! I always comes back to this song when I think of her.
It was my high school theme song!

This things I would do to that man...
Is it dirty? Please say it's dirty...This things I would do to that man...
Speaking of sound and emotion. It was summer 1985 and Bruce Springsteen was performing in Gothenburg. My girlfriend at the time was so into him and wanted to go. I was not so into him. I like some of the things he has done but really not enough to buy any records with him.I think music is the sound of emotion. At least to me it is.
Oh, it's dirty. Is it dirty? Please say it's dirty...
I have no real idea but love the song. I will guess itās about love lost or unrequited? This is one of my favourites. I wonder if you'll guess what it's about...
I love that song! The lyrics are so clever - is it in his embrace - no thatās just his arm.Is it true ladies of chaos? Is it in his kiss?
I totally get that! I saw Huey Lewis and the News twice because their show was so good! I am not a big concert person - too many people which freaks me out.Speaking of sound and emotion. But I said ok, I'll go with you.
I don't regret it for a moment. I've been to several concerts and this was one of the best I've been. to! Not so much the music but for the way it was delivered. Much playfulness on the stage and you could see how fun they had on stage, and that rubbed off to the crowd (65000). 3 hours of sheer fun on a perfect summer evening.
My opinion on his music hasn't change, but I respect his work more after the concert. (He still can't play the harmonica though...)
Sounds like time for Bettie! This things I would do to that man...
For some reason, a movie ruined that band for meHuey Lewis and the News
They were kind of my heroes because they were all a little older, all accomplished musicians on their own, having performed for years. All those things I considered to be like the āfuture meā (which did become true). But they were able to come together and do something extraordinary that was different, but also brilliantly predictable at the same time. They had a goal to be a hot band, and they achieved that in spades for a while. They never lost their talent, but the world decided they wanted a different new sound. That is the problem with being too hip and āthe latest thingā.For some reason, a movie ruined that band for me![]()
They are in the running. The horse race to be my rich well endowed husband. What are they running from?![]()
back then we had the alt news feeds to post things onThe internet existed then!?![]()
