Recipes please! If @cascadiabound hasn’t already asked you!Brunch is brunch. The best meal of the day. I’ve been baking for a brunch for the last two days and very happy with my results.
And I'm back to listening to Powerwolf lolNo doubt, because—plot twist—the priest is an incubus![]()
I don’t think you’re the right gender for mostWell a man of/employed by god could be a really fun challenge lol. On the bucket list, lead to temptation - corrupt religious official.
If I can get her out of the sack. Are there any Sunday Brunch people in this group?
He’ll love it!!
YummyOh wow! They look amazing![]()
Absolutely.I finally woke up right before lunch time - does it count?
$40 for a snack with gobox and two margaritas, what's not to like?If I can get her out of the sack.
Clergy types are fun......they have read the ancients and know useful stuff......There has been a serious amount of nerding game talk around here. So many acronyms I have no idea what they mean... I feel even more lost than with sportball stuff...I generally can kerp straight which kind of equipment goes with different sports ball thingees.
And it is clearly Sunday with all the church talk. @Indiesoul you totally crack me up.
And... ummm I forget who said the translation of scripture wasn't a particularly good one from the Greek.... pony up - I want the better translation please. (And yes... there are quite a few clergy types around Lit, current and former practioners of this or that faith and religious fetishism too - something for everyone)
I heard about Lit-togethers back when I was new and boy howdie was there drama all over the board after.
Oh - happy Sunday!
The church I go to doesn't do confessionalsPretty sure a lot of them are at church, and given this group there going to be in the confessional awhile lol![]()
Useful? Not.Clergy types are fun......they have read the ancients and know useful stuff......
Doubt if the priest could handle my sin...The church I go to doesn't do confessionals
We started remote at the start of COVID, too. We are actually loving playing on Roll 20. We only play that way, and then when we get together in person we play other games. Have you played Betrayal at Baldur’s Gate or Ankh? These are my current faves.Lol yeah. Everytime I make myself in them I die some horrible death.
We started out first remote one at the start of Covid, and it's wrapping up now (I'm the one running it). Been reallllly happy about remote options. That's about the length of ours, 2 to 3 years, and this is our...I have no idea what number we're on.
They know forgiveness and justice, and offer hope.Useful? Not.
U nailed it, Sista!Hit that right on the head, Cas!![]()
Yeah! This I gotta see.Do I need to go become ordained and buy a clerical collar for you ladies here?![]()
Morning there Cascadia! Sorry (not sorry) about the nerd talk
My grandpa a man of the cloth, Asbury Seminar, 1880 or so. A serious guy, for sure.......Yeah! This I gotta see.
Well, I just got home from MassPretty sure a lot of them are at church, and given this group there going to be in the confessional awhile lol![]()
I even mixed breakfast and lunch on my plate.Absolutely.
Right...? I sure hope it does, otherwise I'm never getting brunch with my sleep schedule.
We always played in person, for decades, so that initial switch (also to Roll 20, hah) was a bit hard at first. On game night we'd always do board games too. Our favorites were things like Arkham, Dead of Winter (I think it was called?), Betrayal at Hill House or whatever it's called. Games that sort of less play together but also against each other. We started remote at the start of COVID, too. We are actually loving playing on Roll 20. We only play that way, and then when we get together in person we play other games. Have you played Betrayal at Baldur’s Gate or Ankh? These are my current faves.
