A lot of the cool "old" things have ended up in landfills.
I want to find a nice big old school Tube TV as well.

These gorram "Smart TVs" and flat screens, are as brittle as glass in an ice storm.

I still have a Sony Trinitron I bought in the late 80’s. Not suprisingly, it works great still but isn’t hooked up or used anymore. I hate stuff going to waste, but don’t have a use for it.
