That's understood, but other folk have asked the same question over the years, so it doesn't hurt to show how some of us have done it. It's not always "answer my question or shut up" in threads like these. You know how forums work .

Sure, adultery being a crime, such a story would qualify for this exercise, but I would think it would be a waste for this theme. Adultery stories are a dime a dozen and basic fodder daily at Literotica. I would think folks could do more of a stretch than that to respond to this exercise.I

I mentioned adultery in jest only. Wouldn't use that for the crime requirement of a story.

ANY story in a police setting, a prison setting, or among criminals would work. A story about the drug trade would work. A Mafia or hitman story would work. A historical tale about whomever sold J Edgar Hoover his womens' underwear would work. Hell, a prostitution story would work too, as long as the cops (or a court) make an appearance.

But I find whenever I have written about a 'bloody' or a very graphic murder scene I get asked to rewrite it. Also, when a person or victim happens to be younger than 18 and not involved in any sexual escapades it gets rejected. [Yes, I know the rules or policy] - this will be a lot of fun.

Throw in a healthy dose of eroticism and you have the First Ever Literotica Author's Crime and Punishment Story Event. Bust out your best femme fatale, your hard-drinking detective, your beleaguered public defender, your hit man, enforcer, silver-tongued con artist, drug lord, mafioso, pickpocket or prison yard enforcer and turn them loose on the Literotica Readership.

Stories are to be submitted between September 1, 2023 and September 18, 2023, with a posting date of September 25, 2023.

This event is open to all Literotica authors, whether you it's your story or five thousandth. All categories are open. The only requirement is that the story must involve a crime, whether it is the planning, commission, investigation, prosecution, or punishment. The only caveat is that while incest and non-consent stories often describe events which would be considered criminal in some jurisdictions, they do not qualify for this event. In other words, a story with incestuous sibling would not qualify, but a story where incestuous siblings commit a bank robbery would qualify.

Rules:
1. Write a story which involves a crime or criminal element.
2. Include the text "CRIME AND PUNISHMENT 2023" in the Note to Admin-field. I recommend that you copy and paste the phrase into the box.
3. Submit your story between September 1 and September 18, 2023.

This thread is to pose questions, bounce ideas, see who is participating, and frame them for crimes they probably did not commit. Gentle and increasingly less gentle prods will be sent at odd intervals to keep you on track. Now have fun and write your story about the perfect crime!

I simple question and possibly a silly one [in your mind] can I re-post a story that is already published on Lit? I have yet to finish the final chapter or two. but several chapters are already done and dusted.

I am glad there is a long lead time on this, because I have any idea that I think is going to be a lot of fun to write, and I won't be able to get to it for a while.

Interesting to note this thread started after the Hammered thread but has almost five times the responses.

Guess having less restrictions is more of a draw.

This is the same effect we see in themed contests where April Fools gets less entries because its harder than "It was hot, it was cold."

The Spillane challenge requires a certain style, this is "a crime happened" Very difficult(insert sarcasm)
