Interesting difference in ratings..

Anyone else notice a difference in the ratings listed for their story between their control panel, their profile page, and the story itself?

My Valentines story shows different stats on all three pages.

Control Panel: Favs: 21 Views: 20.2k Rating: 4.64 Comments: 7
Story: Favs: 19 Views: 16k Rating: 4.61 Comments: 7
Profile: Rating: 4.57

The Profile rating hasn't changed in a while...the story has been updating...so maybe it's on some delay? The Control Panel updates constantly.

All sections of the site update at different times. The control panel is the most up to date and what you should go by.

Yes, I have noticed the differences but they aren't a lot different and I don't look to be a brilliant writer in any of them.

That is good info to have. I was definitely curious about this. It seems the profile is the slowest to update..

Sometimes the differences are quite stark. I can't remember when, but one story showed a 4.89 on the story page, a 4.49 on the list, and 4.3 on my control panel by the time they all showed the same, it showed a 4.59 on all three it was weeks old and hasn't changed a one up or down since. Votes but then again, it has 122 votes and that hasn't changed in forever either.

I have a sneaking suspicion that the profile may be on low priority because the new one is being tested somewhere in the background. It's one of the next logical things to roll out after the series functionality.

Different parts of the site update on different cycles. So far as I can tell, the CP is the master, the rest of the data slaves off it, at different 24 hour intervals.
