No, I think that McCarthy imagines he’ll be the one to replace Pelosi for parts two to four, step aside for Trump, then return after Trump is back in the White House. It’s only a matter of days, you know.I'm sure this scares the shit out of Kevin McCarthy.(good)

Ok thats not fair, I dont actually know if they are shitty. Its what I've heard. Im willing to concede they may not be shitty pillows.
I saw them at the dollar store for 30 bucks. Seems like a lot for a dollar store pillow. Never paid that much for a pillow. Mine are flat, lumpy piles of stuffing that I stole from hotels over the years. Sure it might explain the neck soreness, insomnia, bed bugs and weird stains but they're free.

There will be no articles of impeachment. There's going to be a very public, very visible congressional "investigation" with lots of roaring and pontificating and threats. Then it's going to quietly disappear because it was all a show and there are no impeachable offenses to charge the POTUS or VPOTUS with. None. They have to do the "investigation" though to show the Trumpers they are after the nasty bad Dems. And even if they do impeach either of the two, it ain't going any place with a Dem controlled congress and a requirement of 2/3rds vote of the Senate to convict. Meanwhile, legislation, the actual work of congress is going to come to a screeching halt. And the Repubs are going to blame it on the Dem controlled senate, even though McCarthy extolled the virtues of check and balances in his speech as the new Speaker of the House. Yeah, another two years of a shit show.

He will be too old to start another presidential term, but serving a year and a bit of this congressional term as speaker is more feasible, if he is ready to admit his presidential campaign is DOA.
