I feel really grateful that I’ve never had an issue producing my own lub.
Plentiful and sweet.
If there’s gonna be some back door action, Almost Naked is my go to.

Thinking back to the Astroglide days - how they advertise never sticky. Yeah right, its like Karo white syrup.

And now I’m thinking about lube that tastes, that still a thing - wild cherry or whacky watermelon.

Oh, goodness.

My only experience with lube is from Lit. My then Dominant partner insisted I go buy some to broaden my experience.

I about died from embarrassment at the checkout.

I do. Well, technically I buy a two pack of 64oz pump bottles. One for the bedroom, one for the bathroom.

I'm economical and always prepared.

I'm also jealous of SMN's plentiful and sweet capabilities.

Those are not the two adjectives that come to mind when thinking about how I would describe myself...

It's not like I've tried every kind, but I've been happy with it.

Something as economical as CVS brand lubricant works okay too. Just might need a little more of it.

KY is freaking AWFUL

great for inserting a finger up the butt once. Awful after five strokes. It's claggy and sticky

I liked lube life, too.

Uber lube was so fancy and not always relevant, but I remember liking it for when I was in a particular mood.

I don't have favorites so much as I know which ones I want to avoid. Just like sex toys, lube is varied and there's been some real thought into the different uses.

I always rub lube between my fingers for a bit too get a feel how the composition changes with friction. If it beads up, I know I'm going to be exfoliating my husband. That's no fun for either of us.

I prefer water based for the ease of cleanup. Silicon is definitely more slippery and can take a bit of effort to wash off. Worth it for  those times, though

Oh, and to answer the question as asked.

Better is whatever results in the best sex for you.
Some of us take a freaking long time to warm up and just want to get down to business. Lube is amazing for that.

My body has been through the ringer these past five years. The way my body responds to desire and sexual stimulus has changed. I've had to meet my body where it's at and be ready for sexy time when the mood strikes because any amount of difficulty really gets in the way of me following through. I want to have sex, damnit. I stash lube strategically so that if an opportunity to get freaky arises, I've got my back.
