HisArpy. Your hatred blinds you to the fact that a lot of what I was saying was agreeing with you - just stating you went too far. There's a knee slapper for ya.
Electricity doesn't HAVE to be generated by fossil fuels, but it's the cheapest and cleanest energy we have. It's more reliable compared to wind/solar and environmentally safer than nuclear.
If you believe that solar/wind are "cleaner" you need to wake the fuck up and stop listening to the girl with Asperger's tell you what's real and what isn't.
All the rest of what you're talking about is a pipe dream. Yes, we're capable of creating an industry for doing all of that, but CURRENTLY we don't have that industry on any scale which will do what you say. Which basically says that your FANTASY isn't reality.
Not that it will stop you from wanting to believe in it.
Solar/Wind, like most technology, requires carbon to build them, but that carbon can reduce the need for fossil fuels and the technology and electricity production are progressively getting cheaper.
My fantasy, as you call it, is becoming a reality in many European countries. It would be more advanced in the US but for Trump.
Putin's invasion of Ukraine has made things more urgent, and the industry is responding.
There is an offshore wind farm near my house. Since it was first installed, the output from the original 30 turbines has trebled, and more have been added. I can now see SIX offshore wind farms from my house. Together they supply electrcity to meet most of the needs of SE England when the wind blows. It doesn't blow on fewer than five days a year.
