How do cows do most of their killing. I don’t see them getting up close, seeing the whites of your eyes. Sneaking behind you with cheese wire and garrotting you, that sounds like a bovine type way of doing people in.

Here, in my country, cows are the 4th place of animals killing people. Dogs, wasps and horses are the first three.

Yet people are hysterical about wolves, which don't even make it on the list (last people killed by a wolf was in the 19th century, though we have wolf packs close to settlements)

Kicking, or maybe smashing - it's a big animal after all. The number probably includes bulls too.

Without having the statistic in front of me but I having some experience of cows, I'd say most of those are accidents when squeezed between the cow and a wall for example, or kicked when in small spaces. Cows have not a clue about how big they are or were they put their hooves. A lot of farmers can tell you how often they get stomped on by cows compare to horses.

With horses riding accidents are more common.
