Chaotic Coffee Klatch (tea also available)

Definitely had one but didn’t play games on it. I was too busy programming it to answer my quantum and status mechanics homework. Well to verify my answers at least.
😒 Well, PG… you know what they say… C’s get degrees. Check me out now, the only math I have to do is pricing and Excel does that for me!!

They say that but they are lying if you want a funded PhD. 😂😂😂 I did get one C as an undergrad though in advanced physical chemistry lab. My old prof is dead and I’m still angry about it! 🤷🏻‍♀️

Wait… you’re PG, PhD?!?! Okay, that’s your new name and we are sticking with it!

Thanks @Deadbed1968 I truly appreciate that! Undergrad and grad school in a STEM field as female, conventionally attractive and with boobs was interesting to say the least. It’s amazing how much that can do to undermine someone’s belief in your ability.
I bet it was. Especially when you were there. It seems to have gotten much better in recent years. My team, and most of the other teams, are almost equally men and women.

I love the fact that more women are going into engineering (and STEM in general), as well as much more racial, sexual identity and sexual orientation diversity. With diversity of people comes diversity of ideas!
Fucking preach! This is exactly what I’ve been focusing on. Increasing the diversity of perspectives and backgrounds of the folks I have working with and for me.

@Daisy_Love I know you’ve been here way longer than I have but I just discovered some of your posts and all I can say is, YES! I’m loving your them so, so much ❤️❤️❤️

I’m so very lucky to be working with such a diverse group, and such a young company! I’m probably the oldest person there. Average age is around 27. MUCH different atmosphere than anywhere else I have worked!

I am so glad that I never had to take real quantum mechanics. I got to take the wussy version for biochem majors.

Ooh, I'm curious, what do you do? I like hearing what other STEM people do.
