the bag phone was basically a car phone in a bag back thenMy Dad had one also - I think it was the same phone as my car phone, just no bag and battery, and better reception because of the better antenna.

I have no idea about Oregon, but I'm on the same latitude as Edinburgh, and It would take a lot of convincing for me to have any skin exposed activity here during the winter season.I tend to think of Scotland weather being similar to Oregon, because of something I read years ago. That might be very wrong, I don’t know (never been there).

That looks just like the phone! The car setup had a cradle thing to hang up on, and all the wiring and antenna stuff was mounted hidden in the car.
I wonder what I did with that? I had it in an IROC Camaro.

Except for a short dip in the frozen lake and then very quickly back to sauna!

I think they used to put the transmitter in the trunk and mount the antenna on the trunk topThat looks just like the phone! The car setup had a cradle thing to hang up on, and all the wiring and antenna stuff was mounted hidden in the car.

My transmitter was under the passenger seat, and I think the antenna was on the windshield.
