China Update.

The presenter is one of the most balanced observers that I've run across. He covers the pro's and con's without personal interjections. So what are the take a ways from the above?

China is floundering. Particularly with the latest sanctions re. integrated circuits. Their previous efforts resulted in massive shell games and corruption so there is no reason to believe that this recently announced effort won't result in the same. Our own government is just as guilty. Virtually all of the really great advances did not come about as a result of government subsidies.

China is still NOT a consumer economy, even the report cited doesn't take that into consideration. They are a factory, they import raw material, process it, then export goods. Mostly cheap goods. They are even more subject to supply chains than the rest of us, particularly with regard to the import side.

I'm having a real *chuckle* over the notion that China thought it could stick it's nose into Afghanistan after the embarrassing exit of the US. You go Xi.

What really matters is not Gross Domestic Product (GDP), but per capita GDP, and median income. According to the CIA World Factbook, the per capita GDP for Communist China is $16,400. For Singapore it is $93,400.

That is the difference a superior government makes for a nation as biologically superior as the Chinese people.

Around 200-100 B.C., the Chinese used written exams to choose people for the civil service, two thousand years before Britain. The Chinese used printing about 800 A.D., some 600 years before Europe saw Gutenberg's first Bible. Paper money was used in China in 1300, but not in Europe until the 19th and 20th centuries. By 1050 Chinese chemists had made gunpowder, hand grenades, fire arrows, and rockets of oil and poison gas. By 1100, factories in China with 40,000 workers were making rockets. Flame throwers, guns, and cannons were used in China by the 13th century, about 100 years before Europe.

The Chinese used the magnetic compass as early as the 1st century. It is not found in European records until 1190. In 1422, seventy years before Columbus's three small ships crossed the Atlantic, the Chinese reached the east coast of Africa. They came in a great fleet of 65 ocean going ships filled with 27,000 soldiers and their horses, and a year's supply of grain, meat, and wine. With their gunpowder weapons, navigation, accurate maps and magnetic compasses, the Chinese could easily have gone around the tip of Africa and "discovered" Europe!

In the last five centuries, the European nations leapfrogged over the Chinese in science and technology. Since 1950, however, Japan has beaten the West in the production of many high-tech products. Other Pacific Rim countries (China, Taiwan, Singapore, and South Korea) now follow Japan's path.

If I am a racist, you will need to modify your definition of "racist" to include those who believe that the Ashkenazim and the Orientals are biologically superior to his own race of white Gentiles in average characteristics necessary to build and maintain successful societies and civilizations.

Intelligence, as well as criminals and sexual behavior, are largely determined genetically. As more is learned about human genetics this is becoming increasingly obvious. It has always been obvious to those who noticed durable racial differences, both individually, and in societies created by the different races.
