As a Mechanic, I am a pretty good Engineer...but I thought that was an air pump too. Not sure of the colour. My employer had all mobile equipment painted orange. Orange Cats, Orange Juan Deere, Orange Terex...cost a fortune.

I found a pic of a ‘85 Cummins Big Cam 350, looks pretty close. of course the cool part is, the little lady in the photo surely knows all about it.
