I took a stroopwafel with me while walking my son to school. The caramel froze. Caramel's not supposed to crackle, is it?

You are supposed to set it on top of your steaming coffee cup so it gets all lovely to eat. Crackling is not desirable in stroopwafel. Must be cold there!

My newly concocted gin- cranberry drink I am at least temporarily calling Cranberry Clearance (it's a nod to the major clearing and dirt work that occurred at my place all weekend)

Made up a new drink
I'm calling it "Cranberry Clearance"

1:1:1 gin, cranberry liquor, cranberry spice syrup
Over ice
Top with pink grapefruit fever tree tonic.
Garnish with fresh cranberries or a slice of orange
