Chaotic Coffee Klatch (tea also available)

Chocolate cake in the oven too, and even dishes washed. That cake is the one to make when you are not ready to invest too much effort, or money, in baking. Basically just mixing everything!
 
Now I have warm bread on the countertop - and it should cool down before cutting it. How am I able to wait so long??? 😭

Definitely at home, I am no pro. Gluten free bread isn't always so good, and it is expensive too, so I've decided to try to learn to make my own. My criteria is rather high, though: it must be good enough even for those who don't need to eat gluten free. With cakes it's easy, but with anything baked with yeast it's damn difficult.

Rye is, syrup not. This one is actually from a Swedish gluten free bread book, and the recipe I tried today has its inspiration in the bread they make in Skåne. So, plenty of syrup. Rye is replaced with buckwheat (which works well).

I think a lot of us have busy weekends ahead. Several working, others preparing for holidays, a few planning big trips. Even Chaos needs a break sometimes.

I however, need some damn sleep because I’ve been tossing and turning for over 3 hours. My only day off and I can’t sleep in?! Fuck my life…
 
I would need some sleep too. Even pretty soon, actually... it's soon midnight. No use thinking about all the things that are still not done.
 
I will probably get my tree on Monday. Meaning I should actually arrange my balcony tomorrow... no space for a tree indoors, it will be behind the window. But that's where it will actually best stay pretty, in the cold. Not much evaporation in -3C.
