Pretty sure the JFK hull number was CV-67. She was never a nuclear-powered carrier. Great ship, though. I've been aboard several times.

It was. They wanted to turn her into a museum ship but the navy decided not to.

Loved that ship. Last boarded her in Mayport when they de-commissioned her.
Little-known fact: Jackie Kennedy decorated the cabin.

When I was in the Navy I went aboard the Spanish Navy Training Ship for her cadets. She was beautiful. I remember that they had wine glasses and bottles on the mess deck tables. Of all the things that is what struck me the most.
