The first shot I had (COVID) I couldn’t lift my left arm past chest height without screaming for a day. All the boosters were standard soreness, nothing more95%! One arm is still a little sore but not nearly as bad as before.
This one seems to have hit me harder in the soreness... but now it's just the normal soreness that I would've expected. The first shot I had (COVID) I couldn’t lift my left arm past chest height without screaming for a day. All the boosters were standard soreness, nothing more
all 4 shots i've had i've ended up with a sore arm for about 2 daysThe first shot I had (COVID) I couldn’t lift my left arm past chest height without screaming for a day. All the boosters were standard soreness, nothing more
About standard, thenall 4 shots i've had i've ended up with a sore arm for about 2 days
sadly soAbout standard, then
My mother got a booster shot and ended up half unconscious on the floor throwing up either later that day or the next day (I wasn’t there). Apparently that led to two weeks in a hospital, and some physical therapy when she got out again. Luckily, she seems to be okay now.The first shot I had (COVID) I couldn’t lift my left arm past chest height without screaming for a day. All the boosters were standard soreness, nothing more

Wow! That’s the most severe reaction I’ve heard of! I’m so glad your Mom is OK now.My mother got a booster shot and ended up half unconscious on the floor throwing up either later that day or the next day (I wasn’t there). IKR? I was shocked! She is a young, sprightly, 79 year old. She didn’t admit it, but I could tell that one scared her.Wow! That’s the most severe reaction I’ve heard of! I’m so glad your Mom is OK now.
No sign of COPD, right?IKR? I was shocked! She is a young, sprightly, 79 year old. She didn’t admit it, but I could tell that one scared her.
Her and I share very similar health conditions, but where we differ, she used to get flu shots every year, and get sick for a couple days from it, and I have never had one and very rarely get the flu. Neither of us smoke, but both have a bad cough presumably to being married to smokers.
She hasn’t mentioned it. However, a few days ago my neighbor passed from COPD that he got from working at area 51 for 30 years or so. I am still pretty upset about that.No sign of COPD, right?
My dad passed from COPD. He got it from working in the printing industry around highly toxic chemicals like benzene and carbon tetrachloride. She hasn’t mentioned it. I’m so sorry to hear thatMy dad passed from COPD. He got it from working in the printing industry around highly toxic chemicals like benzene and carbon tetrachloride.
Thank you. It’s been 12 years now. It doesn’t hurt like it used to. I’m just glad that we now know how bad chemical exposure can be, so fewer people will suffer from it.I’m so sorry to hear that![]()
I’m real sorry to hear that. David said he didn’t think anyone knew all that toxic crap that he was exposed to out there. My dad passed from COPD. He got it from working in the printing industry around highly toxic chemicals like benzene and carbon tetrachloride.
I’m not surprised at all. Most, if not all, military bases are contaminated with some very toxic or radioactive substances!I’m real sorry to hear that. David said he didn’t think anyone knew all that toxic crap that he was exposed to out there.
I worked with a young guy who also had worked out there much more recently (I think David retired in the 90’s), and they told him to not go wondering around away from the main buildings. He said they told him it was because there was a ton of toxic crap around there and it just plane wasn’t safe.
yes, some nasty stuff!I’m not surprised at all. Most, if not all, military bases are contaminated with some very toxic or radioactive substances!
Love it!!yes, some nasty stuff!
I also need to say - even though your pic shows beer, when I see references to “bed” and 1968, I ALWAYS think:
The bed isn’t actually dead anymore but I can’t change my username now!yes, some nasty stuff!

I am delighted! Cars like that are a core part of my being.Love it!!
Yeah - lit don’t do that. The bed isn’t actually dead anymore but I can’t change my username now!
Yep! Don’t get me started! There were a ton of great cars that came out in the late sixties!
My friend had a Challenger in high school. Now that was a heavy car. A stark difference to my little thin tin superbeetleYep! Don’t get me started!
I am a die hard Chevy girl, but to me, the 1968 Dodge Charger is absolutely the most beautiful. And the 67/68 Mustang fastback? Oh my! And the ‘68 Malibu, el Camino, GTO, GS, 442, I think are all likely the best all around cars for the year.
