I still wonder if this was a person who legit wanted to pretend to be someone they are not, then got in too deep, realized people’s feelings were at stake, maybe even cared about the people they were lying to and then thought “I have a way out I’ll e-kill myself”.

So maybe the husband was simply a way to bring in a character to break the news and wasn’t meant to be any more than that?

I don't think it was premeditated. I think something must have happened that made this person want to leave Lit. Maybe this person was having some kind of thing going on with another Litster and it went to shit so he/she said fuck it, I'm done with Lit. Why do the fake death thing is what I don't really understand. I mean, if you want to leave Lit, then just fucking leave. Why get so dramatic about it. Maybe this person was so angry about what happened that he/she decided to take it out on everyone. I don't really know and I don't really care anymore. We’ll Miss @AmberLGreen you really are in crisis. Here we all are living in a world of alter egos, yourself included. How do we know you are who you say you are?

A work colleague from many years ago told me to believe nothing I heard and only half of what I saw. Stick to that and you won’t go far wrong.

Just maybe the Bri thing is totally true ( I have no idea if it is). It seems to be a very convoluted way of leaving the site when a simple goodbye and deleting an account would suffice.
