I've worn my hair long most of my life. I am now in my early 40's and have already decided that I'm going to get my hair cut short someday just to mix things up a little and see if I like it as much as I hope I will. I have a hair appointment next week. I doubt I'll pull the trigger this time but maybe sooner rather than later! Keep up the inspiring posts.

I would love to see you take the plunge and try it short.

My wife sometimes gets fed up with her hair and says she should just buzz it. I try to casually encourage her without overplaying how hot it would be to me.

My wife also had her hair long for most of her life. One day I suggested getting her hair cut a bit shorter with a little joke about being able to see her face better during sex. She laughed and said Hmmmmmm.
A couple days later she did cut it and said should we go visit some friends that we swap with now and then?
Her new haircut was a hit and yes I could see her beautiful face as she was enjoying herself.

Go for it. I grew up in a beauty shop, my mom started doing hair before she had us. One of her standard phrases is "hair grows back." For most people that is true.

I've had hair down to the middle of my back several times in my life, and it's always fun the hack it all off.
