@mynameisben talked a bit about the Author's Hangout yesterday. We both spent a lot of time there over the last few years. He pointed out that a lot of those "old hands" authors spend more time bickering in their forums than they do actually writing stories anymore. I got a lot of help from them when I was starting out, and learned a ton about how this site works from reading older threads in there. But if you want to write something and post it, just do it. I'm happy to help if I can, and I'm sure a lot of other folks here would be supportive if you really want to do it.

I did actually revisit one recently. I think at this point in my life recycling seems easier than meeting fresh lol.
