I'm happy you have someone in the same age group
It's such a precious and precocious age, thinking she knows everything and having the confidence to give it a go. We try and encourage her as much as possible before life has a chance to get its claws in her and try drag her down.

She does dance classes, gymnastics, swimming, music theatre, shes forever getting me to sit down and watch a cheer or dance routine. I try and absorb as much as I can of her, she grows so quick, is full of cheek, is quick, thoughtful, makes my heart swell and I worry every single day I'm not doing a good enough job.

In Scotland we have a word, jobby, you can refer to someone as a wee jobby, like any word it can depend on the inflection. She's my wee jobby, I got the child I deserved

Like I said its all in the inflection and you also have to take into account that slang and meaning can mean very different things in different places.
A jobby is a wee bit o poo, so yes you wouldn't refer to a child as a wee bit o poo, but I could pick her up and give her a squeeze and have her giggle and I could say ach yer a wee jobby and it would honestly in that moment be the most honest and heartfelt thing I could say in that moment.
It's what I love about the world, the different languages, words can mean something very specific but can be used in many different context. I have a little Spanish and used to live there for a while and you learn that they work and use words in a similar way but very specific to say a region or even somewhere as small as a town or village.
I'm rambling.
Measly trying to make a point you will probably already realise, you will have words where u are that mean one thing but is used a different way.
I'm not actually referring to her as being an actual poo

Ha ha ha a wee jobby! Yes! My Scottish relatives used that term for my kids when they were younger. I haven't heard that in a good few years now

In Finnish crumb is used as a term of endearment, in the same way for example sugar in English. But it was originally a crumb(/nugget) of gold - and that can be used like "sweetie" ("She's such a sweetie")

It is hot as hell here, just knocked off work and discovered some kind of slightly sticky spill in the pantry.... bunch of ruined boxes, all mopped out now, can't figure wtf did it. Company here shortly so I can conduct an interview
