Thank you
It’s cool. My daughter and I and one of my sons have connective tissue disorders. The rheumatologist talked about spoon theory as a conservation of energy discussion. An illustration of ability. It started making sense when my bff who has Lupus used it to describe her energy levels for the day.

😘

Look it up. It’s really cool.
Thank you. I will.

Ok. Thank you. That's news to me especially since my wife has RA and her Rheumitologist has never once used that phrase. Well...he is a Medicare Dr.
Well spoon theory isn't anything official. It was developed by a patient, as a means of explaining her struggles to her friends who didn't understand her being exhausted can mean something very different than what they were used to thinking.

Lol I might get distracted too but the mirror is in the bedroom and bathroom. The clothes come off as soon i close the front door
My mirrors in the bedroom, I'm mostly change there cuz I got the dog gate, and the one pupper is always stealing my clothes as I'm taking them off

It’s actually used by medical social workers here to deceive how patients cope and can learn to cope.

My dog every now and then will take my boxers and whip them around, the niece and nephew dog that we’re watching will run off with socks for some reason she loves them and tries to pull them off my feet when I let her out
I can't even begin to estimate how many work shirts or pairs of panties I've lost to Oscar's jaws.

I have a 7 Yr old daughter, every mirror in our house becomes an immediate audience to her rehearsals. We put one in the downstairs bathroom, if we can't find her then you can guarantee she's talking or posing or making up stories, I sometimes stand outside and listen to her, it's absolutely adorable 🥰

That's freakin precious. My niece is 6, and she talks to herself in the bathroom mirror. I have a vid on my phone of her having a two minute long arguement about who was prettier and smarter. Her or her reflection.🤣🥰🤣🥰

When I was 13 I got the room of my sister when she moved out to go to the uni. Oh the number of dance and posture rehearsals... And I mean for real, I did competition dancing but we didn't have a good practise location with mirrors.

I'm happy you have someone in the same age group 🥰
It's such a precious and precocious age, thinking she knows everything and having the confidence to give it a go. We try and encourage her as much as possible before life has a chance to get its claws in her and try drag her down.

She does dance classes, gymnastics, swimming, music theatre, shes forever getting me to sit down and watch a cheer or dance routine. I try and absorb as much as I can of her, she grows so quick, is full of cheek, is quick, thoughtful, makes my heart swell and I worry every single day I'm not doing a good enough job.

In Scotland we have a word, jobby, you can refer to someone as a wee jobby, like any word it can depend on the inflection. She's my wee jobby, I got the child I deserved 🤣🥰

Wow, im realising I'm suddenly telling my life story to basically a bunch of strangers..

Honesty kinda draws itself out eh?
