I was at Great Lakes in the summer. I got sick. Afternoon I was on the grinder in a raincoat with the liner in it. Freezing cold. I went to Div O. He looks at me.
Don’t even say it. Go to medical.
I get to medical they take my temp. Take me straight back and tell me to lay down. He comes back and hands me Tylenol pill and tells me to drink this. It was salty grape Gatorade. As I’m trying to drink this nasty drink. Couple emt show up. Having brought in someone.
One of the EMT looks at me. Asked what is wrong with you? I tell him I don’t know. It’s on the chart. Go ahead and look. He looks. Hands the chart to the other EMT. They start telling the corpman to ice me down. Put ice packs in the armpits.
That’s when o found out how bad off I was. No ice packs. I was given another Tylenol pill. 45-60 minutes later. I was sent back to company
