Chaotic Coffee Klatch (tea also available)

I'm kind of with LittleSwitchy on this. "Junkie" is a term that is more appropriately used if you're talking about shooting heroin or something.

I'd be a lot more worried about someone with a gun and legal alcohol than a gun and weed.

It's true that you don't know who will become addicted. But there are many, many things to be addicted to, and a lot of them are perfectly legal and no one tests for.

It's kind of a 1950s reefer madness kind of thing to associate extreme behavior with smoking weed; there's just not really any good evidence-- much more for alcohol-- and it's another things where perpetuating those ideas doesn't help much.
Not to derail the topic but have you ever seen the movie-musical Reefer Madness (or maybe just Reefer?) with Kristen Bell?

sorry if my choice of words offended you

relatively speaking i agree but am worried about anyone with a gun and any mental health issue (but especially any (legal or not) drugs)

that's true

and no word against legalizing weed for the general populace will ever leave my lips but we were talking about military with all these modern weapons and that's why i say rather safe than sorry (i know the american way is the opposite rather sorry ('thoughts and prayers') than safe)

I'm not offended.

I'm not pro-gun in the slightest, but I worry a hell of a lot less about trained military personnel than I do about all the lunatics who just get to buy guns because they want to. I think that the military guys will back me up on, just because you're in the military doesn't mean that you can go grab modern weapons and go to town.

Also really, it's not the American way. It is one segment of the population, and that generalization is a lot more troublesome.

I'm a recovering heroin addict, and I've always took junkie, for an addict. No drug in particular. Be it weed, porn, or smack.

Weed should be legal, but anyone who is doing anything where lives could be lost, or people seriously hurt, should be sober and alert.

My two cents.
