What's cookin', good lookin'? Part II

I have grits on my brain. Grits with fried eggs on top. Salt, pepper, and a splash of Tabasco sauce.
Or.
Fried grits.
Or.
Cheese grits en casserole, with bacon/sausage/shrimp.
It will take me awhile to work through this...

Yum!
Have made shrimp and grits several times. Food of the gods.

Today, chicken and sausage jambalaya.

Brought up a few rows of potatoes from the farm yesterday to see how ready they are - little rain the last few months. Some real beauties came up - wish I took some pics. Got about 10 baskets of potatoes for the farm stand. Combination of red and golden/yellow potato varieties.

Made roasted red potatoes with grilled marinated chicken for dinner last night.

Miss Conduct (my wife) really wanted potato pancakes for breakfast this morning - her happy slave complied. 🥰 I think she is potatoed out now…

Sunday it was barbecue. Various cuts of meats, two type of sausages and grilled potatoes.
Last night I went for something lighter, Tagliatelle al ragù. :D

I had really good pizza today. The sauce was parsnip and spinach based and it was topped with smoked beetroot, fresh spinach, pickled chanterelles, pine nuts and pesto with thyme. So basically a pizza with all my favorite foods, minus ice cream. 😋

I've got to make something with a roll of ground turkey today (assuming it's still good). It's been sitting in my refrigerator for a week.

The turkey's just gonna have to wait an extra day. I made Polish sausage, sweet potatoes, and Brussels sprouts with butter and salt. :)

Maybe some turkey meatballs? Loaded up with garlic, basil, oregano, parsley, bit of salt and pepper, maybe add in some bread crumbs and an egg as a binding agent.

Or just a turkey burger smothered in tons of fried onions.

Trying desperately to add some taste to turkey I see.
