CNN's Kaitlan Collins said on "AC360" that "The Biden White House was also unaware that this was being conducted, and say they found out when the rest of us did."

"No advance knowledge. Some learned from old media some from social media," a senior official told CBS' Ed O'Keefe.

The New York Times' Jonathan Martin reported that Biden's top aides found out about the search on Twitterand that other senior White House officials learned of the news from Trump.

If that's the case, then the independence of the DoJ took precedence.

So much for equal justice under the law. When the bully is on your side it’s easy to go along for the ride. It’s pretty easy to be skeptical considering how the FBI conducted themselves in the past, lying on an affidavit is certainly not beneath them. I guess we’ll have to wait and see. Still confused on why the magistrate sealed the affidavit. It just looks suspicious.
