Bravissimo is pricey... even when there's a sale. In the US, Bare Necessities and HerRoom both carry Elomi, Freya, Fantasie, Pour Moi, and several others. And their sales are pretty good. Hips & Curves has some very pretty lingerie as well. As for the UK, M&S has had some cute sets and decent bras at a good price.

I think the situation has improved some. Like, In the past, you had like victoria's secret, or JCP with mostly playtex etc, whose cups didn't really go past a DDD, or somewhere like lane bryant whose bands didn't go below a 38. Then internet, and companies saw they were losing us to foreign markets, so Lane started offering smaller bands, Wacoal just said screw it, we will buy Eveden bringing Elomi and Freya designs and products into their portfolio. And department stores started seeing the issue and importing so like macy's started buying some curvy kate etc.

It is still not a lot to pick from, but I truly didn't even know other countries actually had decent size choices because they used to not exist at all in American stores. Once they knew we now knew these things exist, they did start at least offering a handful of options lol.

This is my problem with Dita VonTeese's lingerie line... can't get smaller than a 38 band in my cup size.

M&S is no good for anything above 'standard' sizes, and the quality has gone down in recent years. Usual problem of the back size being too big and the cup too small.

There are plenty of online outlets here too - Figleaves and Amplebosom for two I know of. I'm sure there are lots more.

Bravissimo's own stuff isn't too pricy. The fit can be tricky, and it's not always as good quality as it looks in the catalogue. But they have other lines in store, and the staff are generally excellent.

I guess that I'm not sure what you mean by standard sizes. I am a 36GG in UK sizing. As someone who has them, I know that boobs matter. I will have to check out Rigby & Peller.

ETA: I have previously looked at both the US and UK sites for Bravissimo. The US prices are consistently higher. If I lived in the UK, they might be a more viable option for me.

Agree with M&S. Their bras never fit me right. My favourite ones I get from Ann Summers. They fit well, are comfortable and make me feel sexy. You can get whole sets of matching items include bras, panties, suspender belts, bodies, waspies, babydolls, camis. They have really pretty stuff. They do go up to a 44GG but not in all ranges

I will have to see if they have a US site.

And yes, not all bras are made the same. I only have a couple M&S bras that I wear as everyday bras. It just seemed a bit much to completely rule out a potential option for someone who doesn't have a lot of options.
