Because it's an odd crime, basically, especially the cases like the one that we started talking about, where this teacher was all "in love" with this 14 year old boy. I'm sure this isn't really quite true, but sometimes I think that being white also gives you some kind of license to be just batshit crazy and stupid. Look at all the school shooters, etc. Not a person of color among them. Or a female person. I don't know. Maybe it's cultural. Everyone has stuff. It's kind of interesting in a depressing way.
Well you are a professor after all. I hate doing research and I already have to do it for work so I avoid it outside of itI know, and I also know that on average, that's true. But this is such a particular thing that I got curious about whether there was any evidence about it. Because I was curious, and I'm annoying like that.
