January 6th Prosecution vs. Trump - Loving Updates

For me, the hate and gaslighting coming from the fair-play everyone is equal Democrats here and throughout America actually lifts the Republicans.
People can see right through majority party tyranny. The original intent was to establish a 9/11 type commission with equal number of reps selected by each party, 10 total by each party, two from each majority and minority leaders for a total of (8), the majority would select the chair and the minority would appoint the vice chair. These reps were supposed to be selected from outside of government. The house agreed to the ground rules and both sides in the house agreed subpoenas would be issued with bi-partisan agreement. It failed in the senate.

McCarthy withdrew when Pelosi determined the democrats would appoint the chair for the commission and the chair would have the final authority over the selection process for reps. All reps were congressional members which did not follow the composition of the 9/11 commission where the members would be outside of government. The commission's scope did not include the political violence by left wing groups from the year before

Kinzinger is correct, however the problem for J6 is that behaving like a petulant child isn’t enough for the DOJ to prosecute.
Ya can't omit the fact of how many dems acted like petulant children, Waters and Schumer come to mind and both could have been criminally charged, but we know why!

sorry, i picked up the wrong time... it's 8pm Et, 7 CT, which i just found out when trying to find the coverage to watch

This is what happens when every finding of the committee is supported by the sworn testimony of Republicans. You whine about partisanship.
We all saw what kind of committee meeting Republicans wanted, when they invaded the SCIF with pizzas and fried chicken, October 23, 2019.

Yes, the fun part is that this is Trump's own people he's handled so well as a manager who are flipping him under the bus . . . again and again and again. :)

DC is full of petulant children but behaving like one isn’t a crime.

did they mention before that pence was evacuated twice? i recall them telling us about the time he was, but i missed it was twice. and how awful to hear that agents were calling their own loved ones because things were so bad they didn't know if they'd make it through alive.

edit: duh, blame the heat, of course he was moved twice... once from the floor to the office, then from the office to the underground carpark. my brain didn't connect the move from the floor to office as 'evacuation' but, as i said, blame the heat. my brain doesn't function well in it.

The sight of Josh "Power To The People" Hawley running from the mob like a scared puppy would probably be a career-ender in a state less insane than Missouri.

That was pretty funny. An old school soundtrack came to mind.

Contemplate how real the threat is that you perceive you are under when what you are trying to do is to call your family to say good-bye for the last time.

I'm a few degrees of separation from Rep. Luria, who conducted herself well this evening.

Though I also have to admit I enjoy watching the Republican tendency towards mockery, something Cheney has been observing her whole life, trained on a Republican president and his pathetic minions.

"We broke into the Capitol... we got inside, we did our part," Bancroft said. "We were looking for Nancy to shoot her in the friggin' brain, but we didn't find her."
maga insurrectionist whines that google searches on her name lead straight to her arrest for jan 6th actions. it harms her livelihood.
her lawyer's asking for leniency because:
"when Googling [Bancroft's] name, she will always be tied to her actions on January 6th."

poor baby.

Hawley and Ted Cruz have no clue how ridiculous they appear to other people.

I’m trying to think of the times other presidents have gone live on air during or civil unrest riots…. Watts, kent state, etc.

Know of any? Links to Clips?

Mayors and governors have. Why would presidents be involved?
