I used to have those too 20 years ago, before having my eyes lasered. Changing back to clear was always the downside.I am the same.. I wear Transition Glasses that change into sunglasses outside.. And they are getting better at changing back quickly once you go back inside again
Without being on the pill of course... LOL
I tend to always use a hat, so all my face stayes whiter than the rest.Always nice and tan with the white marks of my glasses on my face lol.
Are you happy with the results after the laser treatment??I used to have those too 20 years ago, before having my eyes lasered. Changing back to clear was always the downside.
It was in 2008, and I got perfect results. From -3,75 to zero, rid of all other aspects there were. Could see better than ever before, as the laser can do corrections that lenses can't.Are you happy with the results after the laser treatment??
How long has it been??
Strix, has this heat wave reached you?It was in 2008, and I got perfect results. From -3,75 to zero, rid of all other aspects there were. Could see better than ever before, as the laser can do corrections that lenses can't.
I got my first reading glasses in January this year. In 14 years I had developed a very minor astigmatism (the smallest amount they even mention, could do without correcting it). Meaning the results had held very well.
Morning! Wait, are you saying morning to everyone or asking morning people why you’re awake?Morning people. Why am I awake?
No, browse backwards and you'll find the weather prognosis to my city. It's been cool for a week, but tomorrow we'll have 30C. Not beyond that, however!Strix, has this heat wave reached you?
I remember, in Germany, they fainted when it hit 70 F.No, browse backwards and you'll find the weather prognosis to my city. It's been cool for a week, but tomorrow we'll have 30C. Not beyond that, however!
That's hard to beliebe. 21-22 C is our room temperature at winter.I remember, in Germany, they fainted when it hit 70 F.
They would be laying out in swimsuits...........at 70 F.That's hard to beliebe. 21-22 C is our room temperature at winter.

I was eventually diagnosed with vestibular migraine, and am medicated with an epilepsy drug for them. I had three strokes in 2017 that my neuro thinks were triggered by my migraines and blood clotting disorder. I’m on some pretty heavy lifelong medications now but I still have prodrome, and aura. I usually just miss the attack and the post drome phases now.
@Strixaluco I’ve often wondered about laser for my eyes.
I can get a headache out of sun in cooler than that. Yet at 21C I am not going anywhere barelegged yet, either I have long pants or skirt, or then stockings. They would be laying out in swimsuits...........at 70 F.
I have never regretted having it done. Although there is one caveat: night vision often suffers. Mine was so good before that it didn't matter. But I do get dazzled easier at night, with all traffic lights and whatnot.IUSER=6451549]@Strixaluco[/USER] I’ve often wondered about laser for my eyes.
Yeeees! Please?!Morning!
Join me for caffeine!
Yeeees! Please?!
It’s gonna be a long ass day.

The thing that's been so surprising to me about this is what a wide range of symptoms you can have, and the ineffectiveness of a lot of treatment. We went out to the Mayo Clinic back some years ago...maybe a decade now...and that was entertaining, but no more useful than anything else, really. It's all trial and error and figuring out how to manage. It’s truly terrible for some people with the vertigo. For me I am fairly well under control most of the time at the moment but if I miss my meds I really know about it very quickly. It’s truly debilitating. I really feel for your BFF.![]()
My body rejects most of what I want to do.Up too late and could have slept in but my body apparently rejected that idea.
My strokes mostly affected the vision centre in my brain. I have a couple of lasting deficits, one being that I have no peripheral vision. You can sneak right up on me. My kids love it, tiny cute terrorists.
