Chaotic Coffee Klatch (tea also available)

Actually, American-made "Swiss" is something I miss. It was also the cheese I could afford in the grocery store when I was trying to survive on $9.73/month in the Land of the Free. It also makes sensational grilled cheese sandwiches with tomato slices and celery or garlic salt and black pepper.

I also miss Thomas's English Muffins. Which we can't get in England.
always loved Thomas's English Muffins. and it seems ironic you cannot get them in England

what is that fried ball of dough called. A friend brought me one and it was delicious.
A donut hole?

Makes sense. I just didn't grow up in the US.

When I moved here I was already a teenager and set in what I liked and didn't. Also thankfully my family kept our traditions so we still eat our foods so I didn't really try a lot of the things yall talk about? Like I prob didn't have a grilled cheese until my 20s. I like grilled cheese sandwiches with gouda and things like that. Also I live in a big city that's very diverse so there's a lot of fusion cuisine and things like that.

And we’re back to donut holes

okay it's after 11pm so bedtime even if it's like 70s°F still 🤷‍♀️ goodnight lovelies and not-so-lovelies 😇🥰
Good night bb
I didn't grow up in the US either.

But I have made churros. From scratch, including stale bread in the dough. Probably not very well, but it was fun to try.

Good food is good food, wherever it comes from. And even my country has its moments.

That's cool that you've made them. I haven't. I don't love them now. Mostly bc everytime I've had them they don't really taste like the ones I've had when I was a child lol. Prob ingridients were better back in the day.
