What was this thread about?....oh yeah ADHD...support group? 😅

I have a question for everyone...do you hate when people ask you too many questions? Like in a conversation or something like that?
I can get very irritated with too many questions. However, if the subject matter or conversation is really interesting I'll probably talk so much that there would be little need (or even time) for questions 🤣
My tolerance for this is also worse in the morning, but not because I'm not a morning person (I much prefer mornings). I think it's because I need some space to get my own head straight before people start disorganising it for me.

Do you have adhd too?
Yes. We're both ADHDers and I have the double whammy of also being autistic. The one, two punch it seems.

For me, questions help me stay clear in my communication with others. It's helpful to know what's important to them. I've also done a lot of work with boundaries and being clear with people when it's not a good time to talk. That's helped me SO MUCH.

Finally switched to an XR capsule and it's great to avoid the peaks and valleys of a 4 hour dose but, it sucks that I can't regulate it like I used to. Is it a bad idea to ask my psychiatrist for an rx for a 4 hour dose to go with the 8 hour XR?

Not a professional, but I think that's pretty common. At least, my prescriber has mentioned that possibility to me if I need it.

If you take too much, you might get super attentive, but super angry! Just my experience…

I need time in the morning to collect myself before being bombarded with the day!

I also repeatedly disassemble and reassemble any pens that are within reach over and over again!
Hahah funny. I was just talking to my friend that does have it and asked her about the hand gestures and she said no bc she controls ot but she plays with pens.
Good thoughts. I have no idea!

My morbid brain wonders how many first responders take note of what people are listening to when involved in a car accident.
I've only attended one car incident where the music was still on, it was some really boring stuff too, the sound of the collision must have been more interesting. Most times the car is pretty fucked and the music goes off or driver turns it off. Modern cars automatically dial 999 when in a collision so all audio stops.
