The thing about guns is; it is so hard to put any numbers behind Mass Savings Events.

Myself, on two occasions having guns prevented crime. I never had to pull the trigger, although in each case I was justified by law in doing so (Castle Doctrine). The thing is, I live in a county that has the lowest crime rate in all of the United States, so if I have done so twice, how many other times have guns prevented death?

Its unable to be substantiated, but it happens a lot.

Our murder rate is now nearly 7000 per quarter, or about 75 per day. Since our population is about 1/6 of the USA's, that would be like 450 murders per day in the USA

I am a lot more worried about black on white violence. White on black violence hardly exists at all. It is nearly always the case that when a white person kills a black person the black person was a criminal committing his most recent crime.
