Does the government fund video games in the US? I get your point about video games and the detachment from emotions, but that’s not a problem government can solve. The new bill that just was signed into law now can include juvenile records in background checks. That, coupled with bolstered federal funds for red flag law administration, mental health and school security will hopefully help somewhat.

We Americans treasure our right to keep and bear arms. People from other parts of the world beg, borrow and steal to get into this great country. 🇺🇸

Before it was taken down, a music video he had pinned on Twitter showed a cartoon of a school shooting as well as videos of himself in a school.

He had a YouTube account, Instagram and Twitter, but the Instagram account was taken down moments after police released his name.

It appears that his father once had a sandwich shop, Bob's Pantry & Deli, on St. John's Ave., about a mile south of the shooting site. His father, Bob previously ran for mayor of Highland Park in April 2019 but lost. He was also a candidate for Highland Park City Council in 2013, but also did not win.

While Mr. Crimo's social media is relatively blank, he has "liked" a few tweets that indicate he may have political leanings to the right.
