The Iran Crisis Is Here

The Trump sanctions have been left in place. You therefore have no new policy or action to offer, and you have no idea how to put more pressure on.

In 2019 UK, Germany, and France who were totally pissed off by Trump walking away from the Iran Deal put in place a new facility to enable Iran to make many financial transactions to support International Trade. The USA could do nothing to stop that and Trump was left helpless. That is the mess Trump left behind when Biden thrashed him in the election.

America's enemies obviously do not trust her, But neither, post Trump do her allies.

Your last sentence is 'tough guy talk,' meaningless twaddle, which you and your party are too scared to back up. Just remember that during the Trump administration the USA cut itself off from Iranian oil, Russian oil, and Venezuelan oil, all because the great deal maker Trump wanted to play the tough guy rather than make a deal.
To start with we were energy independent. We told those countries to basically go pound sand. Trump approved sanctions on firms building Nord Stream 2, *Biden lifted them*. Biden removed every Trump policy that worked out of a Nancy Pelosi type political vengeance. What a way to govern, by emotion rather than common sense, not having the wherewithal to keep in place what worked. Biden released 90 billion dollars to Iran when he lifted sanctions, shortly after that missiles starting flying into Israel. Biden is an incompetent fool.

Europeans are greedy ignorant arrogant fucks. Western Europe didn't give two shits about Iran's nuclear ambitions, all they cared about were trade agreements with Iran to plus up their own economies.

Uhhhh.......,

Whatever you say, what word is it that you are fond of? oh yeah, SPARKY.

You know, I see "I wish all Conservatives would DIE" rhetoric on internet posts. You people are so mean.

So dumb as well.

Let's be absolutely honest here...

Iran wasn't abiding by the terms of the treaty they signed. Anyone who says or believes they were is woefully ignorant. Anyone who says or believes that Iran will abide by any terms of any new treaty is even more fucking stupid.
That's why Trump backed out of it and slapped sanctions on Iran. The agreement was a fool's errand that was totally manipulated by the Iranians. While Trump was President Obama officials were privately negotiating with Iran to undermine the President's policy. I don't think the Democrats a fully against Iran developing a nuclear weapon, based on their actions.

Yes, he backed out of the agreement because he didn't understand the agreement, which specifically was garnered based on the premise that Iran would not meet the agreement.

Snap backs we're all over the place.

And 45 left before it would actually work.

Ronald Reagan didn't "fuck it up", liberals fucked it up.

You want to get to all electric transportation? Fine. The ONLY way you're going to get there is to start building a LOT of nuclear power plants. If everyone were to buy an electric vehicle tomorrow, the entire electric grid in the US would go down on the day after. Wind and solar will NEVER supply the energy needs of this nation. The liberals used Three Mile Island to create a panic attack concerning nuclear power. They then went to work on fossil fuels starting with coal. It apparently never occurred to them that with plentiful nuclear power the fossil fueled plants would have died a quiet death based on pure economics.

I have zero objection to electric cars, trucks, trains or anything else electrically powered. (Well, not entirely true. It'd be a cold day in hell before I ever plopped my ass down in an electrically powered air liner.) But before any of that can occur you need to have the energy resources to provide the electricity to begin with. The fucking morons in DC are trying to put the cart before the horse.
First there is no reason to believe that wind and solar will never supply the energy needs of this nationi. That is just propaganda that you've bought into. California (leading from the front!) gets over half of our energy from carbon neutral sources and we've only been seriously investing for about ten years or so.

I'd love your evidence that libs were the ones who panicked over 3 Mile island not a relatively uneducated population. There are plenty of solid red states that wouldn't have enough dems to stop them from building nukes if they wanted to. The reality is that due to our federal government being too weak to function properly and frankly giving individual people, states etc, etc has lead to a lot of problems that simply shouldn't exist. NIMBY affects everything from prisons, to power plants, to factories and everything in between. Nobody wants that shit next to them mostly for stupid reasons I might add.

The Morons in DC by which you should be directly addressing the Republicans have been trying since Carter to put the horse out there and the Right has ACTIVELY fought against it. When Carter put solar panels on the White House that should have been the start of America moving away from oil as much as possible as quickly as possible. Especially given the climate at the time. Reagan turned around and removed them which obviously set the tone for years and years to come.

The president may not control oil prices or much of anything but they DO hold an important place in setting the tone. This came back to bite us in 2008 and here we sit one more time with gas spiraling out of control because we just do stupid shit.

Its worth noting that "green" energy doesn't by definition need to be headed towards vehicles. IT makes up roughly 2/3rds of our uses but there doesn't seem to be an inteligent reason why we shouldn't be pushing solar if only to power our homes. There are relatively huge swaths of America that doesn't have enough "weather" to be an issue in that area. Also the sun shines all day. While their use is diminished rain does not stop solar energy.

Why do conservatives always jump to a "If we did all this tomorrow the world would collapse." It doesn't matter whether its the jump to green energy or eliminating the national debt. I love that argument on the national debt by the by. If you took everything from every millionaire it wouldn't kill the debt. Because all of us paid for our homes in cash.
We were 100% reliant on our own energy resources.

We were never and probably never will be 100% reliant on our own energy. Like so much of what Trump did via his understanding of the media was drill the bullshit into thick skulls.

What we were, and still are for the most part, was a net exporter of energy. That doesn't mean we were refining our own gasoline, or not taking oils from Canada and Mexico. Again 65% of California (largest state by population) and 25% of Texas gets its power via renewables. You think maybe if we started pushing harder for THAT we might get closer to being independent?

Lol.

Are these the same "experts" CNN has on all the time which are constantly being proven wrong? Like those "Climate change is settled" experts?

And the ones at Fox, MSNBC, Reuters and basically every credible source.

Climate science IS settled. There is no actually grounded opposition to global climate change. Just people who are too stupid to accept that actions do have consequences.
