Congressional Democrats on the January 6th Committee have hired former ABC News President James Goldston to "produce" this month's slate of hearings on the Capitol riot, Goldman will be "particularly involved" in efforts by the committee to make the prime-time hearings - both this Thursday and another later this month - "TV friendly."

On Sunday, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) said that the Democrats would present a "comprehensive narrative" at the J6 Committee's first public hearing this week.

"Our goal is to present the narrative of what happened in this country, how close we came to losing our democracy, what led to the violence," he told Margaret Brennan on CBS’s "Face the Nation," adding: "Americans I think know a great deal already — they have seen a number of bombshells already [and] there’s a great deal they haven’t seen. Well, Cheney is not doing well in the POLLS. I think voters are angry not just because she was all in for Trump's impeachment but because she appears to be a Pelosi hack. If she would have voiced dissatisfaction on the selection process and refused to participate till house rules were followed where republicans were allowed to select a minority chair and an appropriate republican member representation she'd probably be polling better today. Right now pubs see her as a Pelosi hack: not good!

The only "culpability" about Schumer or Pelosi that has been mentioned has been in regards to a force that neither was in charge of. And if the large group of people weren't storming the Capitol to begin with, that part wouldn't even matter.

We all know Trump tried to engineer a coup with the help of others, including current members of Congress. This is clear and will be fully understood down through history. The Congressional committee documents establish this in the country's historical file, but there's nothing coming out on this that everyone already didn't know, whether they oppose Trump's coup attempt or try to distract from it and are complicit in it.
