Durham unmasks alliance between media, Democrat dirt diggers that triggered false Russia story

Court filings show plan to introduce evidence that Clinton campaign flooded media with "unverified derogatory information" on Trump.

Just days after Hillary Clinton emissaries Christopher Steele and Michael Sussmann approached the FBI in September 2016 with dirt that would infuse the Russia collusion probe, the campaign's opposition research firm sent some of the same information to New York Times journalists.

"Gents good to see you yesterday," a Fusion GPS executive wrote the reporters. "Sounded like you might be interested in some of the attached russia-related material. these are internal, open source research drafts, as agreed, pls treat this as background/not for attribution. as you'll see it's all easily replicated anyway."

The invitation to further dirty up Donald Trump continued: "Can also send you a [name]/Toronto memo once i dig it out. I'm skipping over [name] and [company name]. believe your guys have done that up ... leave it to you to distribute internally, or not, as you see fit. don't believe sunny isles/hollywood or panama or toronto have been touched by brands xy or z. amazingly, don't think anyone has done up the trump tower poker ring story either. pretty vivid color there."

The missive is one of hundreds of emails that Special Counsel John Durham has obtained between Clinton campaign operatives and journalists that spread "unverified derogatory information" about Donald Trump, spawning the false Russia collusion narrative shortly before Election Day 2016. They've now been made public in court filings

Durham's argument is straightforward: Attorney-client privilege doesn't apply to materials the campaign distributed widely to third parties. But his filing also puts the traditional media on notice that when Sussmann's trial on a charge of lying to the FBI begins next month, the unholy alliance between traditional media reporters and the Democrat machine will be laid bare for the world to see.

Not really. You accuse "the media" of propping up Clinton, but turn a blind eye when Fox, and all those fringe media sources you are always quoting from, blatantly support the other side, even going as far as to repeat his blatantly debunked lies. "Non sequitur" indeed. Your hypocrasy is shocking, except, you know, by now it isn't- because you do this shit all the time.

Campaign operatives sending that kind of thing to journalists is no crime. It's not even ethically dubious.

Face it: Durham's investigations will never lead to anything that incriminates Clinton's campaign or exonerate Trump's.

Not yet, he hasn't.
I realize this fantasy of yours is de rigueur on the left but that doesn't mean it's true. Here's what is true and has been testified to under oath, The Russian collusion narrative is a lie. Robby Mook, Hillary's Campaign Manager, testified Hillary okayed the release of the false information to the press. They all knew they were falsely undermining a presidential campaign with lies and the elected President thereafter. The FBI testified they knew the documents were false on the first day they investigated their veracity but the "7th floor" decided to go forward anyway because the object was to undermine a campaign and a presidency.

And Durham will bring indictments any day.................

Just like Arizona will decertify.

Keep delusioning

The contrary has been proven, and you know it.

Durham has indicted Igor Danchenko in Virginia. His trial is pending. Tell me that's a delusion.

The indictments aren't the delusion . Your expectations of the indictments is.

I expect Danchenkos charges will be reduced and he'll plead to a deal. Then you'll go ape shit that "a whole load of indictments are coming", which will amount to one or two smaller indictments, probably tied to Russian involvement and Durham will pack up and call it a day.

Maybe you should start complaining now about the jury for that case as well so you can also be a victim on that one

We'll see, gas bag.

It doesn't matter....you'll just blame something else besides the actual evidence being weak or case being weak or even Durham for not making the case.

Keep whining about the deep state

For the record, there really isn't conclusive evidence that the Steele dossier is false. Nor is there conclusive evidence that it's true. The most likely scenario is, that like most things in life, it has quite a bit of truth and a fair amount of exaggeration.
