I call bullshit on that. Sallie Mae didn't hesitate to go dry on me, and I was still in school. I went from summer semester to fall semester fighting it out with them

And I arrived on the forum just short of a month ago. You are not the first returner I meet this way. I made an account a few months earlier, but I have been reading stories for much, much longer. I found the site some 15 years ago, I think.

If you go straight to university, or to university at all... I shouldn't have gone directly from high school, that's for sure! I really would have done better to have the real world to kick my ass a bit first
Especially since my parents were extremely generous and paid my and my sister's student loans for us.

Yeah, I think your generation has a right to be damn angry! I think mine was the last or almost the last to not get royally screwed over by student loans, and they were still bad enough!
