Citizens don’t need a government entity to make up their minds, or to censor info period, regardless of what party in in charge. That's why I said that a "Disinformation governance board" should either be non-partisan, independant, or at worst, bi-partisan with equal representation from both parties.
So one party CAN'T go all George Orwell and be the last word on what is true and what is not. A disinformation governance board should not be appointed by the president, in other words- even if that president is a Republican (Sorry youcanthelp1 and GothTalk)
Because, One thing I see here (and find so frustrating) is that some people are perfectly okay with the previous Republican administration lying and manipulating the truth, and refuse to accept the truth when independent non-partisan organizations call them out on it.
But if a Democratic administration does it- oh no, this is "orwellian" and wrong! There should not be a double standard where we blindly accept one political party's version of the truth, even when their lies are debunked, but cannot accept anything the other party says as true (until it is debunked.)
We do need government entities inspecting our food and drugs. That's making up our minds for us to an extent.Citizens don’t need a government entity to make up their minds, or to censor info period, regardless of what party in in charge.
No question? Show me ONE Republican leader in the House or Senate that wants to appease Putin. You have a small handful of Trump fanatics who seem to reflexively oppose anything the left supports (usually a safe and sane position) and thats it. Once again you're being rhetorically dishonest. There’s no question that Republicans think we should appease Putin for cheaper gas. I now put you in that group.
We have a better chance of devolving into a third world banana dictatorship under a Dem than a Pub administration. (see how easy it is to intellectually lame partisan statements!)We have a better chance of avoiding WWIII under a Dem than a Pub administration.

“Republican leader” is an oxymoron.Same reply
No... I dont think I will "stfu". I will continue to offer my opinions and observations as I see fit. If that's something that offends or scares you, I suggest you either A: enlighten yourself about others right to express themselves, or B: toughen up or, C: leave the forum. Or you can continue to try to impotently restrict the viewpoints and observations of others.Donald J Trump .now get those backbencher Democrat radical quotes out...or STFU.
No I am well aware you won't shut up, nor will you admit that the aforementioned names answered your original question. You are just another example of the rightwing mindset I see from you Americans on that side of the spectrum...*chuckles*No... I dont think I will "stfu". Your nonsensical statement is at face value false. A: There obviously is a Republican Party and B: Individuals are elected within the party to serve in leadership roles. This is hardly rocket science. May I suggest you read, https://www.sparknotes.com/us-gover...erican-government/political-parties/section1/“Republican leader” is an oxymoron.
I fully enjoy that you took their comment literally and missed the entire point.Your nonsensical statement is at face value false. There are many myths about Trump. Opposition to the Ukrainians fighting Russians is just one of them. My statement stands. No I am well aware you won't shut up, nor will you admit that the aforementioned names answered your original question. Your comment offered no rational or educated point. One could just as easily say and with an equal amount of lack of forethought that Democrat Leadership is an oxymoron. Both are just highly partisan rants that soundd rational to only highly partisan people.I fully enjoy that you took their comment literally and missed the entire point.
One could, but one didn't.Your comment offered no rational or educated point. One could just as easily say and with an equal amount of lack of forethought that Democrat Leadership is an oxymoron. Both are just highly partisan rants that soundd rational to only highly partisan people.
Of course it stands, I never expected it not to. I'm not the idiot here.My statement stands.
