I know, right? I think there are a couple of newer ones that have big ball bowling that have booze, but the old traditional ones with Candlepin bowling don't usually have booze... strange, because they're from my grandparents' generation & they definitely drank!

Now I'm looking up the regulation sizes of candlepin bowling... it seems what my grandfather built was like a miniature version - everything seems to be half the size. The pins were maybe 8 inches? The balls were roughly the same size as billiard balls... He built the lane himself, but the pins were plastic and the balls were definitely not handmade. He must've bought those from somewhere.
