"Woke" banks exist. They have existed for hundreds of years as churches would not invest in anything they saw as 'immoral' such as slavery. In the UK you can bank with a company that will not invest in fossil fuels, and you can buy stocks that guarantee their 'green' credentials.

But you could lose out because of their policies. If you are putting your money there because of your beliefs you will accept that.


A 'woke' bank would not invest in oil extraction. So what? there are many institutions that will.

Obama got a stimulus package that worked in getting us out of the recession, and would have worked a whole lot faster if Congress had approved the original amount proposed. Obama created the vibrant low-unemployment economy that Trump inherited and took credit for.

We economic growth plunged in the crisis of 2007/8. We should have come out of it roaring. Instead, we sputtered and wheezed for eight years as investors and entrepreneurs tried to guess what other incentive-crushing nonsense was coming from that guy with a pen and a phone. As a result, we never got above 2% growth for eight years.
