Ha! Plus they must be grilled. That describes three posters off the top of my head.
Have y'all not yet discovered the joys of Pop Tarts™?
I love it when the butter drips through the holes. We have Crumpets. At least in the Mid-West we do. I have bought them for years, instead of English Muffins. I prefer the texture and they way they hold everything you put on them! My favorite way is just a little butter and jam. And of course, they are toasted, put in a flat pan, or grilled. I have never, ever, ever, stuck one in a fucking microwave!
The ones on the plate look crumpety but the ones in the packet look like muffins.
I had cheese on them the other week. I think it would've been better with Cheshire than Cheddar though. No they don't. And trying to explain what they are to a septic is well nigh impossible. Cos there's really nothing else you can compare them to.
Nope, they are a tad different in texture.
They're the same thing/brand. Usually with butter/marmalade/jelly or make breakfast sammies like a McDonald's Egg McMuffin. The ones on the plate look crumpety but the ones in the packet look like muffins.
You call them Thomas?
I love them with cheese. You have to remember they don't keep, though. I've never seen another food go as mouldy as fast.I had cheese on them the other week. I think it would've been better with Cheshire than Cheddar though.
They're never in the house long enough!I love them with cheese. You have to remember they don't keep, though. I've never seen another food go as mouldy as fast.
Nope. Breakfast normally. Are they a dessert in the Land of Gloom?
with cheese?We have strumpets.
The texture is unique. Almost a bit rubbery. Makes me wonder if I'd take to a gimp mask.My gran loved a bit of crumpet. I haven't had them in ages, but the pastry? has a unique texture, like a cross between bread dough and pasta. Where do the holes come from? Buttery fingers Yum!
