They are interviewing former White House spokesperson Judd Deere today.
“The Select Committee also has a good-faith basis for concluding that the President and members of his Campaign engaged in a criminal conspiracy to defraud the United States,” the committee wrote in a filing submitted in U.S. District Court in the Central District of California.

Are these "violations of multiple laws" anything like the laws Trump supposedly broke when he took classified docs to Mar A Lago?

"did break

You could read the article and find out.

I did. "Engaged in a seditious conspiracy to defraud the US" isn't all that applicable when you consider that the President was making a speech in which he told his audience to remain peaceful.

It's just another attempt to redefine words into bumper sticker memes for political purposes. But hey, if it makes you feel better you go ahead and believe that this isn't yet another witch hunt and that "they've got him now..."

Perhaps you missed all the additional evidence collected by the committee.

I'm honestly not confident the justice department will act on their discoveries and referrals, but I also don't care whether he faces legal consequences....I prefer he face political ones.

And I am hoping we see public hearings on the matter soon.

Upsetting (D)'eez is a crime!!!

It's just more TDS, midterms are coming and the (D)'eez need a "BUTT TRUMP!!! HE'S WORSE THAN HITLER EVER WAS!!!!" histrionics to distract from what a total fucking dumpster fire (D) cities, states and the Biden administration are.

Yeah, I just laughed when I saw this as a news story last night. Wonder what they'd find about HRC with the same people running the committee. :p

All that "additional evidence" is nothing more than spinning what they have because they refused to interview anyone with a contrary set of facts and evidence.

"Look! Trump's Chief of Staff refused to appear! They're GUILTY of engaging in a conspiracy!!!"

The whole thing is a joke as shown by the fact that polls are indicating that most American's think it's a joke.

https://thehill.com/homenews/house/565981-58-percent-say-jan-6-commission-is-biased-poll

A majority of voters say they believe the House select committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol is biased, according to a new Harvard CAPS-Harris Poll survey.

Fifty-eight percent of voters polled said they believed the committee set up by Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) was biased, while 42 percent said they thought it was fair.

"Americans want an examination of the riots over the summer and the origins of the virus over investigating Jan. 6th," said Mark Penn, the co-director of the Harvard CAPS-Harris Poll survey. "The voters reject the Pelosi move to toss Republicans off of the committee and see it now as just a partisan exercise."

https://www.pewresearch.org/fact-ta...s-a-lot-of-responsibility-for-the-jan-6-riot/

The share of adults who say Trump bears some responsibility has changed little since then, but more Americans now say Trump bears no responsibility for the mayhem caused by his supporters that day (32% today vs. 24% then).

(emphasis added)

So, the J6 committee is biased and is coming to conclusions which most American's don't believe, yet you're all in on Trump being guilty of committing a criminal seditious conspiracy. Is this anything like the idjits who believe that Trump committed Treason? Or like Comstupid believing that somehow Trump violated the law when he took classified documents to Mar A Lago?

I think it's because your TDS is so strong that anytime an anti-Trump headline makes the rounds, even when it's not supported by squat except more hate, you're all in on it because it's what you want to believe regardless of the truth or facts. And, when that's pointed out, all you can do is spin, spin, spin.

They have texts and emails and phone records and have interviewed multiple people. I don't truly care what polls have said about it....I just want public hearings to expose much of the evidence that has been gathered to the public.

There's plenty of evidence that he was aware that he lost and attempted to overturn that loss. There's also plenty of evidence that he was aware of what was being planned by those who breached the Capitol building.

No spin there at all.

Whether he faces legal ramifications or not is up to the Justice department. I already stated what I believe should happen.

As for TDS - based on these forums, the ones that cry about that term the most are typically the ones suffering from it...though they're the ones supporting him.

Even you must admit the administration is a definite improvement. And the cities and states are no worse than in 2020.

Who said Trump was worse than Hitler?

For four years I have read that they finally have the goods on Trump, he won't get away this time, but he always does. The Democrats have two more years to throw something at Trump that sticks. If they do not, there is a good chance that he will be our next president. :(

On the other hand, if they find something that puts Trump in prison, it might provoke a civil war, or at least a number of violent rebellions throughout the United States. Trump's supporters are that fanatical.😮

Who said Trump was worse than Hitler?
I really can't see the MAGA crowd marching in step. They do not have the discipline nor the imagination to be fascists.

If Trump were Hitler, his ambition would be to conquer Mexico, exterminate the Mexicans, and resettle their territory with white Americans.

No, you're not. If Trump told you to burn down businesses, you would do it.
No, I actually would not. I respect the law.

As opposed to...? Also, did the shiny silver squirrel distract you from the thread topic? Dafuq does BLM have to do with anything?
Well, it was in the name of BLM that police cars were being set in fire in the very city I live in, so yeah, related.
