Thanks, Biden!!!

Why does this entire thread read like a prayer from a child before bedtime?
And thanks, Biden, for setting such a good example by ignoring the cynical vision of the Deplorable cult. You teach by modeling the behavior that we wish would be followed by folks who are still bitter about not feeling fulfilled in their social lives.

Thanks, Biden, for walking a nearly impossible line as best you can, standing up to Russian aggression while avoiding risk of direct confrontation with a nuclear power.

I'm not the one who arbitrarily brought them up.
No, you're the one who's posting about them while I only mentioned that this entire thread smells just like it.

Why is it that you seem to be upset that the hidden objectives have come to light?

Why do you smell children? That's weird. Where am I upset? You're just projecting at this point;)

Let's Go Joe!!!!!

Thanks, Biden, for ignoring the fact that the Republicans can't decide whether to shit or go blind regarding what to do in Ukraine. Their base is split between the Putin/Trump apologists and the hawks who always seem eager to escalate America's engagement in a war. Both wings lack the ability to delay the "instant gratification" of political grandstanding.

You are demonstrating a great capacity for being deliberative, and making each successive move when the elements of support have been lined up. Whatever course becomes apparent, your effective approach to communicating the decision-making process, along with that of your press secretary and other staff members, has brought great credibility for deliberative leadership to the United States.

I'm so grateful to have an grown-up in the White House at this time.

I'm fairly disappointed that Biden is not like Putin at all

Oh wait....I'm the opposite of disappointed......

Is the word you're looking for elated?

I swear I should change my quote to I hate this new format.

Word is that Europe and NATO approve of Joe far more than the Orangutan ... 'restoring respect in US leadership' ....

Let's go Joe.

Yeah, Joe hasn't called them out over not paying their bills while still enjoying the benefits...

What deadbeat wouldn't prefer that?

Did Joe reverse course? More importantly don't you think that Trump calling them out for really no good reason is part of what embolded Putin? That shows a posturing of this isn't our problem.

The Fed needs to hold on further rate changes. No need for any higher or lower. Just let it ride .

Thanks, Biden, for not telling the DOJ what to do, and for standing by calmly while Deplorables scream about their cult leader being above the law. So good to have a grownup in the White House

It's depressing at how shallow a majority of voters are not to hold on for a while for adjustments to kick in rather than go all hysterical at challenges to the economy, especially ones initiated by external factors like Russia's attack on Ukraine. Overall the Biden administration is doing just fine with the mess it was left with, the lack of a cooperative transition, and the lies, attacking, and stonewalling the Republicans are engaging in. We're already recovering from the gas and inflation problems. Just need to hang in there and give it some time to rebalance. Hysterical, small picture voters are playing into the hands of the Republicans, who aren't going to do a damn thing for the middle and lower classes or citizen rights when/if they get back into power.
U.S. wholesale inflation fell in July for first time in 2 years
By Christopher Rugaber, Associated Press

Prices at the wholesale level fell from June to July, the first month-to-month drop in more than two years and a sign that some of the U.S. economy's inflationary pressures cooled last month.

Let's Go Joe!I

House passes Inflation Reduction Bill (y) or, should i say, DEMOCRATS have passed it since not a single republican voted for it. This, too, shall be remembered at election times.

It’s hard to show how this bill translates into immediate, meaningful change for Americans’ wallets, said Casey Burgat, legislative affairs program director at George Washington University.
This vote follows a productive summer for Democrats, who passed a gun control bill, the CHIPS Act to boost high-tech manufacturing and the PACT Act to aid veterans exposed to toxic burn pits, as well as approving Finland and Sweden’s entry to NATO.
That’s a remarkable lineup of legislation in a Senate Democratic majority that can’t afford to lose one vote and has to negotiate with a range of ideologies from Sanders to Sen. Joe Manchin, a coal-country moderate representing West Virginia, Burgat said.

“It’s a surprising amount they’ve gotten done,” he said.

Let's make it clear: inflation and other problems are mainly due to external shocks and changing from democrats to republicans will do diddly squat to help with that. Except that a fair number of republicans are hard core libertarian ideologues and so destined to make things worse the Liz Truss way.

Absolutely true. But a large section of the electorate's not bright enough to understand that. On each and every issue, it would be telling if voters approached it from "and what's the Republican's platform on this and how does that affect me personally."
