It’s just incredible. Denmark ended all Covid restrictions 3 days ago and most people there seem ok with that. It’s almost as if they are done with the nonsense.

This assumes that any restrictions they lifted were only in place because of "panic".

What are the national Covid restrictions currently in the United States?

But none of them can be compared with the US where resistance to vaccines is much more prevalent.

In the US, the restrictions are primarily at the state and local level. For example, my home county of Los Angeles has ridiculous restrictions. They even want to require masks at the Super Bowl! 😂

You were thinking that Covid doesn't have tickets to the Super Bowl?

You obviously are not a football fan or follower of Covid science. The Super Bowl is outdoors. They’ve been playing games at SoFi Stadium all season, including last weekend, with full houses and minimal mask compliance. Turn on your TV a week from this coming Sunday. You’ll see lots of maskless people, defying Karen and acting like they are in Denmark or Sweden.

What an idiotic thread coming from this poster.

Denmark has a vaccination rate of 81.25 percent vaccinated. Doesn't the OP get the cause and effect of any of this in the context of the footdragging being encourage by him and other board Trumpettes?

The U.S. has 76% of the population with at least one vaccine. Having said that, Omnicron doesn't care about your vaccination status. You again miss the big picture. People are over Covid and it's not going away. You're going to have to learn to live with it. Additionally, the lowest vaccination rates are in the African American community. I don't think those are Trump supporters.

Any stats of how many of them go to the hospital with Covid? It isn't just about being outside.

I notice you didn't respond to my pointing out that Denmark has an 81.26 vaccination rate. If the United States did, we'd be able to mingle a whole lot more too.

You mean, they'll be watching a soccer game?

Outdoors, but with tens of thousands of people in close quarters, doing a lot of cheering and yelling. Which is just about the perfect way to spread Covid.

Yes, and cases are spiking. Go figure. Denmark accepts the science and has lifted its restrictions.

Zero evidence that covid is spread by airborne particles? That is quite well established now. You might as well ask for proof that we need oxygen.

Airborne particles dissipate outdoors far more rapidly than closed indoor environments. Football stadiums across the US have been packed every weekend with maskless fans. Zero evidence that they are so-called superspreader events. Denmark has gotten over the nonsense. You clearly have not.

I actually agree with one of the Bud Spencer usernames. Wow, how often does that happen?

I would think that by now, outdoor events should be okay. We've had sporting events in the US, outdoor concerts, county fairs, and festivals. Enough "cancel culture;" it has long been clear that outdoor events are far less likely to be super-spreader events than crowded fire-code-violating crowd capacity indoor events. Especially at this point of the game, and especially with a high level of vaccinated people, who are willing to take responsibility for their own heath and safety. Don't want to risk getting sick? Don't go. Or (preferably) get vaccinated and go out and enjoy life.

Depends on how closely packed together folks are going to be, how many are boosted in addition to vaccinated, and how many wear masks most of the time.

The Super Bowl? Having seen packed regular pro football games already?
