A dispute over french fries resulted in gunfire at a McDonald's in St. Louis County, Missouri, last week, authorities said.

Terika Clay, 30, was arrested and charged Thursday with first-degree assault and armed criminal action after she reacted to an argument over the salty snack by opening fire on an employee, according to the Associated Press.

Clay allegedly got into a shouting match with a McDonald's employee while receiving her order in the drive-through lane of the restaurant in Normandy, Missouri, last Wednesday.

Then, following the argument, she returned to the store while the employee was on a smoke break and struck the employee in the head with a gun before shooting her in the chest.

The Republicans have spent decades fighting tooth and nail against even the mildest of gun control, but when a gun ends up in the hands of a person who has no business handling it, it's Biden's fault. God, I love right wing logic!

The fuck does this have to do with Biden?

Oh I get it...the Democrats and their lassais faire attitude toward gun laws, and the removal of gun ownership restrictions. Goddang Democrats! Rest assured, if only Trump was still in office, he would have outlawed all guns except for police and military, and this tragic mass shooting wouldn't have happened.

Of course, we've all wanted to open fire in McDonald's at one time or another.

The OP supports easy access to guns and posted this thread as some sort of outrage about Biden. OP's got to be crazier than a loon.

If the victimized employee had been armed at the time, the assailant would have ended up with two guns.

To be completely fair, it does stand to reason that Trump would want McDonalds to be safe, in light of how much time he spent there himself...

Then why do the preponderance of shootings like this one occur
in generational Blue enclaves with strict gun laws?

Do Democrat policies breed violence?

One would think so...

It's comforting to know that you would not be caught dead in a MickyDs...

Drive through enthusiast?

What gun control would you enact that would have stopped this shooting?

"B-but Trump!"

He's ignorant.

Rural Democrats are against the type of gun control the idiot dreams of.

Hell, eventually this golden path leads to the abolition of butter knives
because in the wrong hands, they can be very scary implements of death.

"they" always say, "We need more laws!!!!"

When the shitbirds doing these shootings aren't following the laws we already have. Why would more laws that a criminal would ignore change anything?

It's a feel-good reaction that denies the realities of human nature.

You take away the gun and a knife is used to achieve the same outcome...

In my experience, the more guns a person owns,
the less likely they are to go shoot someone.

These "sensational" guns gone wrong stories
are pretty much always a criminal who has
acquired the one and only tool that he needs
for the job which has been acquired, as Johnny
posited, outside the scope of the law...

I don't know anything about this story other than the first post blurb, but I'd bet the perp was breaking the law just by possessing a gun.

I've alluded to that, but thanks for stating it so that Democrats can understand it.

:D :D :D

I just emptied my first cup.

It's time for #2.

And I'm going to warm up some Mexican for breakfast.

I forget her name...

How many laws are already on the books? Passing more is going to change things?

What I have observed over the years is that many states have passed "enhanced sentencing" laws for the commission of a crime with a firearm. But in practice the DA's will plea deal the firearm charges away in exchange for a guilty plea on a lesser charge. That was one of the things that AG Barr did that brought high approval from me, no plea deals on firearm charges. That went by the wayside with the new administration.

The same school of thought that wants to outlaw guns,
in a Venn Diagram, is almost a totality of intersection
with those who think life terms are cruel and unusual.
