House Speaker Nancy Pelosi wrote to fellow Democrats on Friday to outline legislative plans for the rest of the year. BBB and a federal takeover of elections are dead. Common sense and reality is finally setting in.

What’s out: Free preschool, free community college, a pathway to citizenship for millions of illegal immigrants, expanded Medicare, and the implementation of green energy policies meant to end the use of fossil fuels and curb carbon emissions.

What’s in: Passing government spending for 2022, legislation aimed at bolstering American competitiveness in producing key technology and improving gaps in the supply chain, legislation that would authorize “robust sanctions” against Russian government officials and financial institutions with regard to the Ukraine crisis, and Honoring our PACT Act, a bipartisan bill providing funding to help military veterans who suffered injuries from exposure to burn pits. The speaker said lawmakers may also reconsider legislation to reform the financially troubled U.S. Post Office, an effort that began two decades ago but has yet to pass Congress.

UHC that gives Californian/NewYorker tax dollars away to anyone who shows up with their hands out. Ban all petroleum products and gas powered vehicles in those states, show us how well the "New Green Deal" works for your states energy and transportation needs.

That should be a Democrat issue. The Democrats cannot exploit that because most whites do not trust the Democrat Party on the issues of crime and race. President Clinton owed his re election to the fact that he signed the 1994 Crime Bill. Clinton substantiated his appeal to whites by signing the 1996 welfare reform bill.

The Democrats need to win back most of the once Solid South, and most of the white working class. They will not do so by whimpering over the deaths of people like George Floyd.
