Grandpa Diddlefingers is Senile

President 46 doesn't answer questions. President 45 ignored them, ridiculed reporters and now slams the phone down on them.

Amy difference?

If you weren't here railing against Trump's obvious diminished cognitive skills, you don't get to say a damn thing about President Biden.

Don't lie Ogg. Trump spent more time in front of the press than any President. Almost daily. Joe spends the least amount of time in front of the press. The media makes excuses for Biden. They are propping him up. Biden has failed as a national leader.

And we still have three years of this desiccated husk and his empty-headed sidekick running the show, with Democrats caught between the Scylla of a demented Executive and the Charybdis of unthinkably acknowledging that Trump was right all along about Joey Mushbrain.

Too bad that Trump lost in a landslide to the guy he tried to label as more senile than him. :( Deplorables continue to cry about that, rather than seriously considering why Trump lost.

I'm just happy to have a grown-up in that office. Thanks, Biden. I know that your heart is in the right place during a very difficult period in history.

Yes Trump did spend a lot of time in front of the camera and that was a bad thing and not his place. Given its only been a year I'd love to see your facts and figures on how he holds up to other presidents cus I suspect it isn't THAT low.

There is no reason to think Harris is running shit and she's not empty headed in anyway. She is highly educated and well spoken. Trump wasn't right about much of anything.

It's difficult because we have a demented fool for President, a guy who wasn't exactly a MENSA recruit when he was at his best. All of these ills are from his addled decisions.

She's supposed to be Border Czar, and we know she's not doing shit there but watching millions stream across it.

As for the well-spoken part, uh...yeah:

She's so over her head it's pathetic.

Yeah she isn't remotely in over her head and there aren't millions streaming across the border. At the worst maybe tens of thousands and that's likely a gross over shot. The reality is that the Border is no worse off than its been in the last forty years save a breif stretch under Bush and Obama that marked a failure of ths US economy.

Nearly two million will cross the border this year from over 100 countries. It's a disaster in motion, all of it overseen by Veep Throat.

UPDATE: The NYT notes that 1.7 million crossed the border in 2021, a record. Another 400,000 came across as "gotaways," so it's 2.1 million illegals, all thanks to Princess Giggles.

Even if true, that would be no "disaster." The very worst thing the vast majority of those migrants are going to do is compete with citizens (and with other migrants) for jobs. They're not bringing crime with them, or disease, or welfare dependency, or any actively subversive form of un-Americanness, or undesirable gene-codes, or anything else that was not already here in abundance.

You say this as if it's axiomatic. It's not, and yes they are bringing a lotof all of that with them, people who are illiterate in heir own tongues.

Plus it's against the law. I know that's a big concern of yours.

Trump on track to hold more press conferences than any modern president
by Katherine Doyle, White House Reporter | | April 21, 2020 07:03 AM

President Trump has held 93 press conferences since taking office, more than the 70 held by President Barack Obama over the same amount of time and the 72 held by President George W. Bush, according to research compiled by historian Martha Kumar.

Only Presidents Bill Clinton and George H.W. Bush had more during the first 39 months of their presidencies. The former ended up with 133 during his first term, and the latter did 142. If Trump continues at his current pace of six or seven press conferences a week amid the pandemic, and he shows no sign of wanting to slow down, he will eclipse them both by the end of June.

What's more, Trump has taken questions frequently from White House reporters on the South Lawn before departing on excursions and during press "pool sprays" after meetings in the Oval Office. Obama, widely viewed as well-liked by the media, took far fewer questions in such settings.

“What is different with Trump is to have so many [press conferences] in such a short period of time,” Kumar told the Washington Examiner. “Without his political rallies, Trump reaches out to his base and to others through his tweets and with these extended joint news conferences with task force members. The sessions are both more numerous and longer than what other presidents have done.”

Trump has taken questions in almost all of them, said Kumar, as he has during question-and-answer sessions with reporters on the White House South Lawn. And he calls out his opponents much as he did during his precoronavirus political rallies.

Trump averaged over 20 press conferences a year in his four years, Joe Biden held on in 2021.

Who said Harris is running anything? She was assigned to handle the border and she didn't do shit. All she has done is bullshit the American people, cackle like an idiot, and shirk her duty as Vice President. She's incompetent. She was an incompetent AG in CA as well. She fucked her way into that job, ask Willy Brown.

White House sets record for longest span with no press briefings
The White House hasn't held a single briefing during the government shutdown.
By Alexander Mallin
January 22, 2019

White House press secretary Sarah Sanders spent most of Thursday afternoon stepping in and out of her private office to field questions from reporters huddled in the hallway, seeking more answers on the president’s surprise letter denying House Speaker Nancy Pelosi use of military aircraft for her congressional delegation overseas.

Sanders has not briefed once yet in 2019, and has broken the previous Trump White House record for no press briefings set between Oct. 29 and Nov. 27 last year, a 29-day period during the fall where the 'disappearing' press briefing seemed to enter the 'endangered species' territory.

The Trump White House has not only lapsed its own personal record for the span of time with no press briefings – according to the University of California Santa Barbara’s American Presidency Project, Sanders has also surpassed the all-time record for time with no on-camera briefings since they began during the Clinton administration.

Other major stories in the 31-day span with no briefings have included the departure of the White House chief of staff, the resignation of the defense secretary, the sudden announcement of the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Syria and other major headlines in the Russia investigation.

Yeah you've got to know that is absolute bullshit. That isn't even a realistic number and it would be impossible to hide.

Unless you have another choice for the "empty headed sidekick" Bud said she was running the show. I mean she's not empty headed at all but its obvious who he was referencing.

And who wants a president who is constantly in front of the camera anyway. We were talking shit about him not finding time to do hiw fucking job four years ago and he's not even that far ahead of Obama.

You make this too easy. https://www.presidency.ucsb.edu/statistics/data/presidential-news-conferences

Trump's average per year was lower than both Bushes, Clinton, Johnson, JFK, Eisenhower, Truman, FDR...I stopped counting after that. You get the point. It IS true that Biden is on the lower end to date (though I could argue it's justified by the pandemic), but he isn't the lowest-ranked. That would be your beloved Saint Ronnie.

We survived four years of "A lot of people don't know [either something most ten-year-olds know or something patently false]" and endless self-praise. You will survive having a grown-up in charge.

According to Customs and Border Patrol, there were 1,734,686 interdictions of illegal aliens in 2021.

In other words, the Dems have not thrown the borders open like your kind are always claiming. Thanks for doing our homework for us!
